8 Months!

Today marks my 8 months in country and 5 months (and a few days) into service!  I can't believe it's gone by so fast... I don't want to start a countdown already, but I've just been thinking about it and I have less than 20 months left to go now--19 to be exact.  Crazy!  It's so weird thinking back to when I was considering this 27 month commitment.  It seemed a little scary because that's quite a long time to be away from all the comforts of home, but things are going really well and I'm getting more comfortable in my Nica life.  Here's to 8 more great months in Nicaragua!  And then 11 more after that :)
